Job opportunities for Bulakenyos from 2 major dev't projects

Job opportunities await Bulakenyos from two corporations with major development projects in Bulacan that vowed to prioritize the hiring of local residents. The two major projects are Northwin Global City of Megaworld Corporation and Crossroads of Ayala Land Estates, Incorporated. "Bibigyang priority po natin na unahin ang paghire ng employees na manggagaling sa Bulacan, particularly sa mga karatig bayan na pagtatayuan ng AyalaLand Crossroads. Siguro ay nasa 40% ang tatargetin natin," (We will prioritize the hiring of employees from Bulacan, particular in nearby towns where Ayala Land Crossroads will be built. Maybe around 40 percent will be targeted),"  Ayala Land Estates, Inc. Estate Head John Estacio said during the Talakayang Bulakenyo 2023 on Friday. The Talakayang Bulakenyo is  a regular meet-up with the press by the Provincial Public Affairs Office (PPAO). The same commitment was also given by Ma. Kamille Andrea Quiniano, Senior Sales Manager of Megaworld Corporation. "We have the vision to really help the improvement of Bulacan as a province as one of the most competitive. It will be to our advantage to make use of the talents of Bulakenyos and definitely, it's the main priority of Northwin Global City to employ people from Bulacan from the development up to the time that it is developed already," Quiniano said. Castro said the province is looking forward to the realization of these big projects and how they will benefit Bulakenyos. "This is the right time to invest in our province. We welcome all the businesses, all the opportunities, and the Provincial Government is thrilled because of all the development that's coming for us," Castro said. Bulacan Environment and Natural Resources Officer Atty. Julius Victor Degala shared the result of their recent benchmarking in Japan with regard to the new technology in solid waste management. The Talakayang Bulakenyo panel members were Provincial Administrator Antonette V. Constantino, Provincial Planning and Development Officer Arlene G. Pascual, Provincial Legal Officer Gerard Nelson Manalo, and Atty. Gerald Biscarra Baro, Chief of Staff of Castro, while Provincial Information Officer Katrina Anne Bernardo-Balingit acted as the moderator.
