Muntinlupa City’s total active Covid-19 cases have further decreased to 10 for the week ending July 3.
Data from the City Health Office (CHO) showed that from June 27 to July 3, there are 10 active Covid-19 cases in Muntinlupa, down by three cases from 13 tallied from June 20 to 26.

Of the 10 active cases, three are listed in Barangay Poblacion; two each in Bayanan and Ayala Alabang; one each in Tunasan, Putatan and Cupang; and zero cases in Alabang, Buli and Sucat. Muntinlupa recorded 21 new Covid-19 cases and 24 recoveries in the past seven days. There were zero deaths recorded in the past week, and no probable and suspect cases as of July 3. Dr. Juancho Bunyi, CHO head, said on July 3 that Muntinlupa recorded a total of 233 new Covid-19 cases in June or an average of five to six new daily cases. In a Facebook post, the Muntinlupa City government continued to remind the public to wear face masks, get vaccinated up to the second booster shot and observe proper handwashing and disinfection. Meanwhile, healthcare workers in Muntinlupa hospitals continued to get vaccinated with the third booster shot or the Covi-19 bivalent vaccine. Frontline hospital workers will get the third booster shot first before senior citizens.
