RJ Abarrientos is now looking for a new home after officially parting ways with Ulsan Hyundai in the Korean Basketball League.

According to a team statement, the sweet-shooting guard, who averaged 13.6 points, 4.8 assists and 2.9 rebounds for the Mobis Phoebus in his rookie year, had requested for a transfer to another league despite having two more years in his contract.
The former FEU standout had a stellar season in the league, winning the Rookie of the Year award and guided his team to the quarterfinals before bowing to Goyang.
Abarientos, 23, signed as an Asian import for the seven-time champion Ulsan last year.
