UP Diliman batch 2023 yields 305 summa cum laude grads

Based on UPD's Office of the University Registrar data released on July 28, the number of summa cum laude graduates doubled from the year 2022 data.  In 2022, 150 students were awarded the highest academic distinction. A year later, the figure signified a leap in the University's academic excellence, as 305 students are set to get their bachelor's degree with the highest academic honor.  Among the 3,359 baccalaureate graduates, a remarkable 2,243 will receive Latin honors, including 305 summa cum laude, 1,196 magna cum laude, and 742 cum laude distinctions. The 112th General Commencement Exercises of UP Diliman will be held on July 30 at 7:00 a.m. at the UP Amphitheater located behind Quezon Hall.
