Muntinlupa was recognized for its programs including efforts to combat malnutrition among children.

Mayor Ruffy Biazon and the Muntinlupa City Nutrition Committee received the awards at the ceremony held at The Heritage Hotel Manila.

"Congratulations Muntinlupa!. This is a positive validation of our efforts to eliminate malnutrition in the city. There is still much to be done, but for now, we wish to recognize all the hard work of our local nutrition and health workers to make this recognition possible," said Biazon.
