Man yields P272,000 shabu in Taguig 


A 29-year-old man was arrested by the police in a buy-bust operation in Taguig on July 29. 

New Southern Police District (SPD) chief Brig. Gen. Roderick Mariano said the operation was conducted by the Taguig Police’s Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) at about 1:10 a.m. on Abad Street in Barangay South Signal.

The police identified the arrested suspect as Alvin Isagon.

 Seized during the operation were 10 plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 40 grams with a value of P272,000, and a P500 bill used as buy-bust money. 

The suspect is at the station custodial facility of the Taguig Police and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
