LOOK: Maine Mendoza, Arjo Atayde's star-studded wedding


Exactly 10 years after her viral "Arjo cutie" tweet, actress-TV host Maine Mendoza finally tied the knot with actor-politician Arjo Atayde on Friday, July 28.

Note that the Kapamilya star asked for Maine's hand in marriage the same day last year.

The couple exchanged "I dos" at the picturesque Alphaland Baguio Mountain Lodges Chapel in Baguio City.

Principal sponsors include well-known personalities in showbiz and politics like Antonio Tuviera, Tito Sotto III, Joey de Leon, Vic Sotto, Carlo Katigbak, Martin Romualdez, Joy Belmonte, and Maricel Soriano.

MJ Lastimosa, Maja Salvador, Ciara Sotto, Kristine Hermosa, and Sheena Halili were bridesmaids while Enchong Dee and Joseoh Marco were groomsmen.

Of course, attendees uploaded some behind-the-scenes photos on social media.

Broadcast journalist Julius Babao shared a picture of him along with Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.

He and his wife Christine Bersola-Babao also has a snap with Ogie Diaz and ABS-CBN executives Carlo, Mark Lopez, and Cory Vidanes.

The newlyweds, meanwhile, posed along with Maine's talent management All Access To Artists bosses, namely Michael B. Tuviera, Jacqui L. Cara, and Joselito C. Oconer.

Maine's "E.A.T." co-hosts Allan K, on the other hand, posted a photo of him with other celebrity attendees, Miles Ocampo, Ryzza Mae Dizon, and Wally Bayola.

A video of Maine and Arjo's first dance is also trending online, same with the actor dancing with his mother, veteran star Sylvia Sanchez while Ice Seguerra was singing Martin Nievera's "I'll Be There For You."

As for Ice, he shared some pictures of the couple.
