Pasay LGU to hold Barangay Labor Desk job fair

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano is inviting all city residents to be part of the “Barangay Labor Desk” job fair on Saturday, July 29 at the President Corazon Aquino National High School in Barangay 184 PAL Gate II, Maricaban.   Rubiano said seven companies will participate in the job fair from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.   She said the seven participating companies in the job fair were SM Hypermarket at Supermarket, Top Serve, Ace Hardware, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Consunji Inc. and Prime Works.   The mayor said the job fair offers around 1,468 vacancies for the unemployed and fresh graduate student job seekers.     Rubiano said the “Barangay Labor Desk” is a strategic response of the city government to address the unemployment rate.   She said the city government opens more employment opportunities through the “Barangay Labor Desk” in order to oversee the employment status of every resident.
