Western Visayas' most wanted nabbed in Iloilo

ILOILO CITY – Police have arrested the most wanted person in Western Visayas in Dumangas town, Iloilo province. The Iloilo Provincial Police Office-Provincial Intelligence Unit (IPPO-PUI), the 2nd Iloilo Provincial Mobile Force Company, and the Dumangas Municipal Police Station nabbed the suspect identified only as "Isong." The-35-year-old who is a resident of Barangay Dacutan was arrested for rape with carnal knowledge, rape by sexual assault, and act of lasciviousness. Isong is under the custody of Dumangas Municipal Police Station prior to turn over to concerned court. The Police Regional Office-6 lauded the arrest of Isong. “Ang mga taong may pananagutan sa batas, lalong-lalo na ang nakagawa ng mga ganitong klaseng krimen, ay dapat managot (Men will have to pay for their crimes, especially such as rape),” said Police Brig. Gen. Sidney Villaflor, PRO-6 director. Villaflor ordered police units across the region to hunt down other most wanted criminals.
