The Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (DRRMO) showcased its rescue equipment at the Handa Pilipinas Expo 2023 on Thursday, July 27.
The exhibit is a Department of Science and Technology (DOST) project held at the World Trade Center on Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard in Pasay City.
In line with the theme ''Risk Reduction in Mega Cities," DOST invited the cities that are equipped with innovative emergency tools for disasters.
"Ang ating tanggapan ay isa sa mga naimbitahan upang itampok ang mga maipagmamalaking kagamitan nito pagdating sa pag-responde at paghahanda sa anumang mga sakuna o kalamidad, agarang atensyong medikal at iba pang mga insidente (Our office is one of the cities invited to showcase its equipment when it comes to responding and preparing for disaster or calamity, immediate medical attention, and other incidents)," the city government said.

The exhibit is also in conjunction with National Disaster Resilience Month and its theme "BIDANG Pilipino: Building a Stronger Filipino Well-being towards Disaster Resilience."
Manila DRRMO encourages everyone to visit the expo, which will be open until Saturday, July 29.
