Cops nab convenience store robbery suspect in Pampanga

CAMP Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – A 25-year-old man was arrested for allegedly robbing a convenience store in Santo Tomas, this province, on Tuesday, July 25. Chief of police Police Capt. Jester Calis identified the suspect as Eddie Mutya. A comprehensive investigation by the police after the incident led to the led to the identification and arrest of the suspect. Recovered from Mutya were stolen cash amounting to P3,310, powdered milk worth P1,656, and cigarette products totaling P11,263. Suspect was also arrested in 2020 for carnapping and 2017 for theft. He is currently in the custody of the Santo Tomas Police Station and faces related charges.
