ILOILO CITY – Police arrested five brothers for allegedly selling shabu worth P408,000 in this city on Wednesday, July 26.
Jovan, Jessie, Jamer, Jonel, and Joebert Billones were nabbed after they sold shabu to a police poseur-buyer.
Police listed 35-year-old Jovan as a high-value drug pusher. The rest of the Billones were street-level drug peddlers.
The Billones brothers are facing charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Police Brig. Gen. Sidney Villaflor, Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 chief, lauded the intel-driven operation conducted by the Iloilo City Police Office-City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) and the Drug Enforcement Team of ICPO-City Proper Police Station.
