Wanted man nabbed by Pasay police while applying for police clearance
A man applying for a police clearance was arrested in Pasay City after police found that he had a pending warrant of arrest for illegal possession of a bladed weapon.
The police said the suspect, identified as Abundio Imperial,41, was arrested inside Police Substation 8 at around 3:00 p.m. on July 25.
Imperial was securing a police clearance, and upon checking with the National Police Clearance System, it was discovered that the suspect has a pending warrant of arrest for illegal possession of a bladed weapon. This led to his immediate arrest.
The warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Remiebel Manodilla of the Pasay Metropolitan Trial Court (MTC) Branch 45.
Imperial's  warrant of arrest  was issued on February 2, 2016 with a bail recommended at P4,000.
Imperial is now detained at the Pasay police custodial facility.
