Rizal police arrest 220 individuals in 15-day anti-criminality drive

A 15-day anti-criminality drive by various police stations in the province of Rizal resulted in the arrest of 220 individuals and the confiscation of illegal drugs. In his report to Calabarzon Police Regional Director, Brigadier General Carlito M. Gaces, Rizal Police Provincial Office director Col. Dominic Baccay said the arrested persons included 109 wanted persons, 55 persons for illegal drugs, and 55 persons for illegal gambling. Baccay said the operation on illegal drugs resulted in the confiscation of some 230.89 grams of shabu and 2.1 grams of marijuana with an estimated value of P1,570,340. One suspect was apprehended for possession of loose firearm.
