P1-M shabu seized from 3 drug pushers


CITY of San Fernando, Pampanga – Suspected shabu worth almost P1 million was seized from three drug pushers in buy-bust operations in Angeles City and Pulilan, Bulacan on Tuesday, July 25, and Wednesday, July 26.

Suspects were identified as Harrey Urquiola, a high-value individual, 44, and his companion, Remrick Magno, 21, residents of Mabalacat City, this province, and Algin Cruz, 44.

The Angeles City police arrested Urquiola and Magno in Barangay Pulung Maragul on Tuesday and recovered from them were 20 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu weighing approximately 100 grams worth P680,000, sling bag, a motorcycle, boodle money, and a P1,000 marked money.

Cruz was arrested after midnight on Wednesday in Barangay Longos, Pulilan.

He yielded seven heat-sealed plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 34.16 grams with a standard drug price of P232,288 and a scooter.

Suspects are in the custody of apprehending units and Faces charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
