The Las Piñas City government added the Christ the King Medical Center Unihealth, located along Alabang-Zapote Road, to its green card program in order to expand its health care services to more residents.
Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the hospital is now accepting the green card of beneficiaries after receiving its accreditation from the city government.
The green card program provides free hospitalization worth P30,000 to qualified beneficiaries.
With the addition of the Christ the King Medical Center Unihealth, there are now seven accredited hospitals for the program, including Pamplona Hospital and Medical Center, Perpetual Help Medical Center- Las Piñas; Las Piñas Doctor’s Hospital, San Juan de Dios Hospital, Philippine General Hospital, and Las Piñas City Medical Center.
Aguilar said this will bring more specialized medical services to the community, reinforcing the city government’s commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare coverage.
She said the move will further empower residents to seek timely medical treatment without the constant worry of exorbitant hospital bills.
