Bulacan police net over P267,000 illegal drugs, 14 drug suspects, wanted men

Bulacan police operatives confiscated over P267,000 worth of suspected illegal drugs and arrested 11 alleged drug peddlers, and three wanted men in the province on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 25-26. In reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, the Pulilan police carried out a successful drug sting operation in Barangay Longos about 12:10 a.m. on Wednesday, that led to the arrest of a man and the confiscation of approximately 34.12 grams of suspected shabu, with a standard drug prize of about P232,000, as well as the marked money. (Photo courtesy of Bulacan PPO/ MANILA BULLETIN) The suspect was identified as Algin Cruz, 44, of Barangay Caingin, Bocaue, Bulacan. Similarly, multiple drug buy-bust operations were conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of San Miguel, Bocaue, Angat, and Marilao police. The operations resulted in the arrest of five more drug suspects and the confiscation of an additional suspected shabu with a standard drug prize of P35,600, and marked money. Marilao police operatives successfully apprehended five illegal drug users who were caught while doing "pot session" in Poblacion 1, Marilao. The raid resulted in the confiscation of sachets of suspected shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia. Three men who were wanted for various crimes were arrested on Tuesday by tracker teams from the Bulakan, Baliwag, City of San Jose Del Monte, and Marilao police.
