1,389 stranded in Southern Tagalog seaports – PCG


LUCENA CITY, Quezon – A total of 1,389 persons were stranded in different seaports in Southern Tagalog or Region 4-A due to super typhoon “Egay” on Tuesday, July 25.

The Philippine Coast Guard in Southern Tagalog said that 39 vessels, 272 rolling cargoes, and 25 motor bancas were stranded and 81 vessels and 67 motor bancas were taking shelter in ports.

PCG said in a maritime safety advisory that they are continuously monitoring the Batangas Port, Anilao Port and Talag Warf, Tingloy, Batangas Port, Bauan Internatinal Port Inc., Port of Balayan, Barangay Lumangbayan Balanacan Port, Lucena Port, Atimonan Port, Cotta Port, San Andres Port, Alabat Port;

Romblon Port, Cajidiocan Port, Calatrava Port, Looc Port, San Agustin Port, Real Port, Patnanungan and Jomalig Port, Dinahican Port, Polillo Port, Calapan Port, Balatero Port, Bulalacao Port, and Sampung Port.
