Villar inaugurates new municipal hall of Dolores, Quezon

DOLORES, Quezon – Sen. Cynthia A. Villar led the blessing and inauguration of the newly constructed municipal hall here on Saturday, July 22. Villar, in an interview with reporters, said she readily agreed when the local government unit headed by Mayor Orlan Calayag sought financial assistance from her office for the construction of the building. (Danny Estacio) She said that the municipal building is an important structure of the local government that symbolizes progress and development. “Ngayong araw, binubuksan natin ang inyong bagong munisipyo. Ang gusaling ito ay simbolo ng inyong lakas bilang isang komunidad, at kung ano ang magagawa ninyo kung magtutulungan kayo (Today, we are opening your new municipal building. This building is a symbol of your strength as a community, and what you can do when you work together),” Villar said. “Natutuwa ako na nabigyan ko ng suporta ang proyektong ito, dahil naniniwala ako sa kinabukasan ng Dolores at sa inyong lahat. Nawa’y ang bagong gusaling ito ay makatulong sa maayos, mabilis, at nararapat na pagtugon sa mga pangangailangan ng mga Doloresins at sa paghahatid ng serbisyong publiko ng LGU ng Dolores, Quezon (I am glad that I was able to support this project, because I believe in the future of Dolores and in all of you. May this new building help in quickly and properly responding to the needs of Doloresins and in the delivery of public services of the LGU of Dolores, Quezon),” she added. Villar, Quezon Rep. David Jayjay C. Suarez, and ALONA party-list Rep. Anna V. Suarez jointly funded the project which started  on Oct.  19, 2019.
