The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) advised that its teams are on standby in various areas in Quezon City for any emergencies during President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s second State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday, July 24.

In a statement, PRC said that it had prepositioned six ambulances, six first aid stations, six welfare desks, and 75 manpower in the following areas: Camp Karingal, Command Post, Batasan Road South Gate, Batasan Road North Gate, Quezon Memorial Circle, Commission on Human Rights, Batoda terminal, and Batasan-San Mateo Road. "PRC is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of the public, guests, and officials attending the SONA. The presence of PRC's well-trained personnel and fully equipped ambulances will provide critical emergency medical services should any situation demand immediate attention," the organization said. PRC encouraged everyone attending the SONA to stay alert and cooperate with the authorities.
