National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. and  Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director Police Brig. Gen. Nicolas D. Torre III  visited the area in front of the COA to ensure the safety and security of the people.

QCPD said around 6,000 supporters of the President from different groups such as the Movement for Filipino Ideology: Partidong Federal and Balay Federal ng Pilipinas, One Movement Incorporated, and BBM Solidarity Group attended the activity.

They conducted a program called "Volunteer Concert for the Nation Building".

In an interview with Manila Bulletin, Obet dela Cerna, president of the Movement for Filipino Ideology, said they support the President's administration and that they believe that he was given to the Philippines to lift the people from poverty.

“Ang hanay ng Movement for Filipino Ideology,  ang Partido Federal at Balay Federal ng Pilipinas ay nananawagan kay PBBM na mas lalo niya pa pong gawin ang nararapat para magtagumpay po ang bansang ito (The Movement for Filipino Ideology, the Partido Federal and Balai Federal ng Pilipinas are calling on PBBM to do more to make this country prosperous),”  he added.

Meanwhile, an unidentified woman suddenly lay down on the road Monday afternoon to block the caravan of Manibela transport group along Commonwealth Avenue.

Authorities assisted the woman but she ran away.

The QCPD said the woman reportedly has a mental disorder and they will not file a case against her.

The transport group started their three-day strike on Monday, July 24, to protest the phaseout of traditional jeepneys, which will be replaced by environment-friendly vehicles.
