BUTUAN CITY – The Police Regional Office-13 launched the PNP Help and Foodbank at the PRO-13 headquarters in Camp Rafael C. Headquarters here on Saturday, July 22.
The launching of the PNP Help and Foodbank project was in partnership with the stakeholders and members of the Advocacy Support Group, PRO-13 Regional Public Information Office (RPIO) chief Police Major Jennifer S. Ometer said.
Ometer said the PNP Help and Foodbank program aims to encapsulate all existing police community relations outreach programs, which include Barangayanihan community outreach program and humanitarian assistance during typhoons and other natural and human-induced disasters.
Police Col. Eleazar P. Matta, PRO-13 deputy regional director for administration, received the contributed items from participating government and non-government organizations, civic groups, private entities, and provincial and city police units and national support units under PRO-13.
This activity signifies the need for unity and solidarity during emergencies and disasters that may befall our community, PRO-13 said.
