Eight-year-old boy drowns in Cadiz City river

BACOLOD CITY – An eight-year-old boy drowned in a river in Sitio Bayabas III, Barangay Daga, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental on Saturday, July 22. Authorities withheld the name of the victim. The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said the victim went to a river with his siblings to play.
AN eight-year-old boy was declared dead on arrival in a hospital after he drowned in a river in Barangay Daga, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental on Saturday, July 22. A concerned citizen reported that the victim was found unconscious on the river bank at around 4 p.m. Rescuers brought the victim to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
