Taguig robotics team wins awards at RoboWorld Cup in Germany
Students from Taguig bagged awards at the Federation of International Sports Association (FIRA) RoboWorld Cup 2023 held from July 17 to 21 in Wolfenbuttel, Germany.
The Cayetano Science Robotics Team, representing the Philippines, won a silver medal in the Cliffhanger Missions Heavyweight category.

In the individual awards, George Lean Tizon won a gold medal in the Cliffhanger Heavyweight category and silver medal in the Mission Impossible United Countries. Gilleene Jazz Luyun won two silver medals in the Cliffhanger Heavyweight category and Mission Impossible United Countries, and a bronze medal in the Cliffhanger All-round Heavyweight category. George Angelo Tizon took home two silver medals in the Mission Impossible United Countries and Cliffhanger All-round Heavyweight category, and a bronze medal in the Cliffhanger Heavyweight category. “Congratulations to the Cayetano Science Robotics Team and being crowned as the Kings of Cliffhanger Heavyweight Category! We would like to thank our supportive parents for their endless support to our whole team!” according to a Facebook post by the Cayetano Science Robotics Team. The team also thanked the Senator Renato "Compañero" Cayetano Memorial Science and Technology High School, Data Science and Technology Corporation and the Taguig City government for the support.
