Barbie Forteza on Ivana Alawi describing her as 'sobrang bait'

Ivana Alawi recently opened up on her experiences as a showbiz newbie. She did so via her vlog, relating how she encountered many snobs along the way. There were some, however, who were kind to her. Among them actress Barbie Forteza, whom she described as the "nicest GMA artist" she worked with early on in her career. She shared: “Si Barbie Forteza, hindi ko siya malilimutan kasi madaming maldita sa akin nung nag-i-start ako sa GMA, as in maraming masusungit. Alam mo yun?” Ivana continued: “Ayaw tayong bigyan ng puwesto. Ayaw din kaming bigyan ng pagkain. Sinusungitan kami nung mag-ina. Basta marami… And then, ang pinaka naging mabait sa akin na hindi ko malilimutan—hindi ko pa siya nakakausap after—pero si Barbie Forteza." She reiterated: “Kasi siya ay sobrang bait. Totoo talaga siya, kaya super blessed niya, because she really has a good heart.” The clip immediately trended on social media, and Barbie, herself, saw it. Reposting the clip, the actress wrote: "Grabe naman to. Maraming salamat, @IvanaAlawi so happy for all your success. Ingat kayo ni Mona. Hi po tita!"
