Pinamalayan, Occidental Mindoro and Antipolo City hold benchmarking activity


The municipal government of Pinamalayan, Occidental Mindoro and the Antipolo City local government conducted a benchmarking activity to learn the city's best practices and initiatives.

Antipolo City Mayor Jun Ynares met with officials of the town at the Antipolo City Hall as the city government prepared various talks on their programs and initiatives involving good governance and transparency, infrastructure, online social services, and many other programs and initiatives.

"Masaya po kami na maibahagi sa inyo ang aming tagumpay sa paggamit ng online systems para sa ilan naming mga serbisyo gaya ng E-BOSS, PAGASA Portal, Health Certificate Applications, RPT online payments, paglulunsad ng mga mobile services gaya ng Mobile Kitchen, Mobile Palengke, Mobile ATM, Mobile Shower, Mobile Water Purifier, at marami pang iba (We are happy to share with you our accomplishments in the use of online systems for some of our services such as E-BOSS, PAGASA Portal, Health Certificate Applications, RPT online payments, the development and deployment of mobile services such as our Mobile Kitchen, Mobile Palengke, Mobile ATM, Mobile Shower, Mobile Water Purifier, among others)," Ynares said.

The mayor also expressed his gratitude to the officials of Pinamalayan for choosing Antipolo for their Capacity Development Activity and hoped that they may successfully implement the city's good practices in the development of their own programs aimed at improving the lives of their constituents.

This year, a total of nine local government units (LGUs) and local agencies have conducted their respective benchmarking activities in Antipolo. These are the Municipality of Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro, Kababaihang Manananggol ng Bulacan, Municipality of Gloria, Oriental Mindoro, Sangguniang Panlungsod of La Union, Batangas City, CSWD – Pasig City, Liga ng mga Barangay, Municipality of Pilar, Sorsogon, Barangay Federation on Committee Chairman on Environment, Naga City, and Sangguniang Barangay Teachers Village East, Quezon City.

Representatives from the Western Province of Sri Lanka and Laujar de Andarax, Spain also paid courtesy calls on city government officials.

Antipolo City was also recognized as the top Most Competitive City (MCC) for three consecutive years from 2017 to 2019 by the National Competitiveness Council (NCC) and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). The city garnered the top 2 spot of the MCC in 2021.
