6,400 jobs opportunities open for Caloocan residents in Mega Job Fair
More than 6,400 employment opportunities will be offered to jobseekers in Caloocan City during the city’s ninth Mega Job Fair for this year that will be held on Wednesday, July 26, the city government announced on Friday, July 21.
The activity will be held at the third floor of the Bulwagang Katipunan, Caloocan City Hall - South from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m,
A total of 73 local and overseas companies from different industries partnered with the city government.

It will be spearheaded by the city’s Public Employment Services Office (PESO) led by its officer-in-charge, Ms. Violeta Gonzales. Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan thanked the PESO for organizing the event and for its efforts to provide employment opportunities for city residents. “Tuloy-tuloy po ang mga programang katulad ng job fair upang magbigay ng mga oportunidad sa ating mga kababayan na paunlarin ang kanilang kabuhayan. Sinisiguro po natin na madadagdagan pa ang mga ganitong proyekto upang bigyan ng isang disente at maginhawang pamumuhay ang mga Batang Kankaloo (Programs like the job fair that provide opportunities to our people to develop their livelihoods continues. We assure that more projects will be launched to give a decent and comfortable life to the people of Kankaloo,” he said. Meanwhile, Gonzales urged the residents, especially first-time jobseekers, to take advantage of the opportunity that will help them in getting a job. There will be a “one-stop shop” for registrations and applications with the Social Security System (SSS), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), and Philhealth. On July 7, the city government, in partnership with 49 private companies, also conducted a Mega Job Fair at the Caloocan City Sports Complex, A total of 551 applicants from the city were hired on-the-spot during the event.
