3 minors drown in fishpond in Isabela

CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela – Three minors drowned in a fishpond under construction in Barangay Tagaran, this city, on Friday, July 21. The Police Regional Office-2 identified as the victims as cousins Danica May Palma Padua, 8; Angie Palma Padua, 14, and Shaina Callorina Padua, 12, residents of Barangay Tagaran. Investigation said the victims drowned while swimming in a deep part of the fish pond. They were taken to hospitals here where they were declared dead on arrival.
