Pregnant woman shot dead in Tondo

A pregnant woman was shot to death by two gunmen in Tondo, Manila on Wednesday, July 19. The Manila Police District (MPD)-Raxabago Station (PS-1) identified the victim as Dyan Ereca Prado, 24, a resident of Barangay 105, Tondo, Manila. The two suspects were identified as Rio Selvestre and JJ Vega. According to the initial police report, the victim and her friend were buying a cigarette at a store in Barangay 105 in Tondo around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, when the gunmen suddenly appeared and shot the victim. Prado died on the spot. Police said the victim was reportedly pregnant. The suspects remain at large and a manhunt operation was launched for their arrest.
