Actor-comedian Sef Cadayona has revealed that he considered leaving show business.

Last Tuesday, while being interviewed on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Sef openly discussed his contemplation of a significant decision. This decision was not driven by concerns over his career's stability, but instead, it was fueled by a growing doubt about his own abilities.

“Kung sa damdamin lang, parang hindi ko nakikita na nagsa-shine ulit yung talent ko,” said the Starstruck alumnus.

Sef, 34, said it was also one of the reasons he left the famous gag show "Bubble Gang" now on its new time slot every Sunday at 6 p.m. He thought it was time to leave that part of his life.

“Kung kailangan niyo po ako nandito pa rin ako. But for me, I think it was my time to graduate and to look into a different side ng buhay ko,” he said.

However, throughout the months and upon talking to his bosses, Sef decided to stay in the industry.

“Nakita ko po yung pagmamahal nila,” he said.

Sef is known for his roles in the movies Gayak (2012) and My Big Bossing (2014).

He will star alongside Bea Alonzo and Dennis Trillo in the highly anticipated TV series 'Love Before Sunrise,' a collaboration between GMA Network and Viu Philippines. (Jaff Conejos/OJT/University of Sto. Tomas)
