Bulacan police gear up for BSKE

The Bulacan Provincial Police Office (BPPO) is gearing up for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election 2023 (BSKE 2023) to be held on October 30, 2023. Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, presided over a Joint Peace and Security Coordinating Council (JPSCC) meeting on Wednesday, July 19, at the Sandigan Hall, Camp General Alejo Santos in the City of Malolos, Bulacan. Arrnedo presented and discussed the security plans and preparations that included updates on the rules and regulations on the ban on the bearing, carrying, or transporting of firearms or other deadly weapons during the election period. Those who attended the meeting were Attorney Mona Ann T. Aldana-Campos, Provincial election supervisor (Comelec); Lt.Col. Ronnel B. Dela Cruz, Battalion commander, 70IB, PA; Lt. Col Laurente A. Acquiot, Deputy police director for operations (DPDO); Police Captain Ian Henry Doctor, Company Commander (CC) 24th Special Action Company (SAC), and Police Captain Rhea Janela Reyes of the 301st Maneuver Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3. Issues, concerns, and action plans for the BSKE  aimed at attaining Secure and Fair Elections (SAFE) were addressed during the conference.
