Woman stabbed repeatedly inside hotel room in Sta. Cruz, Manila
A 34-year-old woman was repeatedly stabbed by a 26-year-old man inside a room of a well-known hotel in Sta. Cruz, Manila, on Saturday, July 1.
The Manila Police District (MPD) identified the suspect as Carlo Oblimaga, resident of 649 Baseco Port Area, Manila.
According to the police report, the victim, Noemi Lambo, checked in at the said hotel with the suspect at around 10 p.m. on Saturday.
Meanwhile, MPD operatives were conducting a foot patrol in the area when they saw the commotion between the suspect and the security guard of the hotel.
Police said that the suspect was rushing to leave the hotel, but the security guard stopped him.
Responding officers brought the suspect to the establishment's lobby.
Authorities later discovered that the suspect's roommate suffered multiple stab wounds in different parts of her body, which led to the suspect's immediate arrest.
The victim was rushed to the hospital and is still under observation.
The police are still investigating the motive of the suspect.
