Lone bettor from Las Piñas wins P61-M Lotto 6/42 jackpot


A solo bettor from Las Piñas City hit the P61,234,178.20 Lotto 6/42 jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) draw on July 1.

PCSO said the lucky winner bought the ticket in Manuela Subdivision, Las Piñas City with winning digit combination of 18-25-12-14-13-22.

Meanwhile, PCSO said that since the jackpot prize exceeded P10,000, it will be subject to a 20 percent tax deduction under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law.

It also noted that if the prize remains unclaimed within one year, it will be forfeited to the PCSO Charity Fund in accordance with Republic Act 1169 or the PCSO Charter.

The next Lotto 6/42 draw will be on July 4, along with the Ultra Lotto 6/58, Super Lotto 6/49, and other digit games such as 2D, 3D, and 6D Lotto. (Sonny Daanoy)
