Mesahon said they are probing if the killing could be linked to the trouble of his sibling in Don Salvador Benedicto (DSB) town, Negros Occidental. According to the victim’s child, the victim’s sibling reportedly figured in trouble with someone in DSB, Mesahon said. A settlement was allegedly offered to the victim, but the victim would not want to accept it. Mesahon said they are checking with the DSB police this report on the trouble involving the victim’s sibling. He said they are also checking the nearby closed circuit television camera (CCTV) footage for possible identification of the perpetrators.
