The Department of Health (DOH) recorded 423 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday, July 2.
This is the highest number of daily new cases in the past three days as per DOH's report.
The total number of active cases is now at 6,925, which is a slight decrease from July 1's 6,945.
Meanwhile, there was still no death recorded for the fourth straight day, and the total number of recoveries rose to 4,092,090.
The overall bed capacity is at 16 percent, or 20,744 beds out of 24,695 beds remain unoccupied.
OCTA Research Fellow Dr. Guido David advised that Metro Manila is now under the low-risk classification for Covid-19 due to the continuous decrease of logged cases in the past few weeks.
