An extraordinary idol and an exceptional role model in public service.
That's how 4Ps Party-list Rep. JC Abalos described his uncle, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benhur Abalos, who celebrated his 61st birthday on Wednesday, July 19.
"Happy Happy Birthday, Tito Benhur Abalos! You are an extraordinary idol and an exceptional role model in the realm of public service," Rep. Abalos wrote in his Facebook post-slash-birthday greeting.
"Your impact on the lives of many is immeasurable, and you inspire us with your unending love, effort, and hard work. I wish you good health, success, and happiness! 💙" the solon further said of his uncle.
Secretary Abalos is a former Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chairman and longtime Mandaluyong City mayor.
The other 4Ps Party-list nominee in the House of Representatives is Minority Leader Marcelino Libanan.
