The Manila Disaster Risk and Reduction Office (DRRMO) showcased its search and rescue equipment and supplies at the National Museum of Natural History in Ermita, Manila on Wednesday, July 18, in line with the celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month.
Manila DRRMO said the exhibit is free of admission fees. It is open until July 31– every Tuesday to Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
"Ang aktibidad na ito ay pakikiisa ng Manila DRRMO sa pagdaraos ng National Disaster Resilience Month 2023 na may temang, Bidang Pilipino: Building a Stronger Filipino Well-being towards Disaster Resilience (This activity is Manila DRRMO's participation in the observance of National Disaster Resilience Month 2023 with the theme Bidang Pilipino: Building a Stronger Filipino Well-being towards Disaster Resilience)," it said.

Responders from Emergency Medical Services and Search and Rescue teams also performed their expertise in disaster preparedness and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
They also held a demonstration of some of the traditional and modern emergency equipment.
Manila DRRMO added that it coordinated with the administration of the National Museum for the opportunity to collaborate in fulfilling its mandate to safeguard the nation's rich heritage represented in its various museum collections.
