Janno Gibbs has something to say about the viral issue concerning Lea Salonga's encounter with ardent fans. In a social media post, the actor-singer maintained Lea was on the right. “Nasa tama naman si Ms. Lea. Bawal talaga sa dressing room/backstage ang wala sa listahan,” wrote Janno. It came with proviso, though. “Sana lang nasabi niya (nang) mas maayos. Yung hindi mapapahiya ang fans,” he said.  The whole issue started with some fans rushing to Lea's dressing room following a performance, asking to have a photo with her. Lea gave in to their demand but not before asking them to move out of the dressing room and wait for her at the door nearest the exit for "security reasons." Apparently, one of them didn't appreciate Lea's actions, going on to castigate her via social media. But Lea is not at all bothered. She related in a statement, “The money you pay for a theater/concert ticket does not mean all-access. You pay for that performer’s art, and that’s where it stops. “I’m not the type to cuss people out, but I will protect my territory and my boundaries. If I lose fans as a result, so be it.”
