12 laborers nabbed for indiscriminate firing

CAMP Marcelo A. Adduru, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – Police arrested 12 construction workers for allegedly causing a commotion and discharging a firearm in Barangay Carig Sur here on Monday night, July 17. Lawmen received a call from a concerned citizen at around 9:30 p.m. reporting gunshots in the barangay. Police proceeded to the area and discovered two empty shells near the barracks of the suspects. The facility was searched and police found a caliber .22 revolver wrapped in a black shirt without serial number with seven live ammunition and one caliber .45 with serial No. 1330055 with inserted magazine and seven bullets in a sack. Suspects were taken to the Tuguegarao City Police Station for proper disposition.
