Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos hails Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) for its stellar academic year.
The 47-year-old MMSU is located in Batac, Ilocos Norte.

It's been an awesome academic year for Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU)--a fact highlighted by Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos in a Facebook post over the weekend.
Incidentally, the presidential son and House senior deputy majority leader served as the guest speaker during the 45th Commencement Exercises of the Batac, Ilocos Norte-based university.
"I am deeply honored to be a part of your 45th Commencement Exercises, celebrating your unwavering dedication and relentless pursuit of knowledge," Marcos wrote on Sunday, July 16.
"I feel a sense of joy and anticipation addressing you this year when Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) has garnered a series of exceptional accolades, marking what many have rightly termed as a 'Golden Harvest'," he stated.
"Thank you for allowing me to share this momentous day with you, and once again, congratulations to all of you!" the rookie congressman further said, obviously thrilled with his experience.
It was last April when MMSU product Alexis Castillo Alegado topped civil engineer licensure exams with a score of 92.10 percent. Alegado bested 5,886 other examinees.
Meanwhile, in the 2022 Bar exam results, MMSU graduate Jether Corpuz ranked 12th after garnering a score of 86.75 percent.
The university was also the fifth top performing law school in the country during the Bar, notching a 75 percent institutional passing rate.
MMSU was founded in on Jan. 6, 1976 by virtue of Pesidential Decree (PD) No. 1279. Ilocos Norte is the home province of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.
