The number of active Covid-19 cases in Muntinlupa City has further decreased based on weekly tallies.
Latest data from the City Health Office (CHO) showed that from July 11 to 17, only three active Covid-19 have been recorded in Muntinlupa, down from 10 active listed from the period July 4 to 10.

Of the nine barangays in Muntinlupa, six are now Covid-19 free. These are Barangays Putatan, Alabang, Ayala Alabang, Cupang, Buli, and Sucat.
Three barangays in Muntinlupa have one active case each. These are Tunasan, Poblacion, and Bayanan.
From July 11 to 17, Muntinlupa recorded seven new Covid-19 cases as confirmed cases slightly rose from 47,278 from July 4 to 10 to 47,285. There were 11 recoveries and zero deaths in the past week.
During the flag raising ceremony on July 17, Dr. Juancho Bunyi, CHO head, noted the decrease from 90 active Covid-19 cases on June 1 to just three now.
On the administration of the Pfizer Bivalent Vaccines which are being given as third booster shots, he said a total of 1,168 doses have been used on frontline workers in hospitals and a few healthcare workers in communities.
Bunyi said they are waiting for the delivery of the new vaccines for the other priority groups including senior citizens.
“We will announce on Facebook the schedule for senior citizens,” he said.
