Murder suspect in Quezon falls in Cebu

PAGBILAO, Quezon – A 41-year-old security guard wanted for murder here was arrested by the police on Monday, July 17, in Barangay Santo Niño 2, Mandaue City, Cebu. Quezon police director Police Col. Ledon Monte reported to Police Regional Office 4-A chief Police Brig. Gen. Carlito Gaces that suspect Gregorio Catandijan, a resident of Barangay Talipan in this town, was apprehended by lawmen led by Police Major Charlotte Sahid of the Pagbilao police station. Catandijan was nabbed through a warrant of arrest issued by Lucena City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 58 Presiding Judge Eloida de Leon-Diaz on December 10, 2014. No bail was recommended by the court for the suspect. Catandijan was listed as the most wanted person on the regional level in the Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Batangas, and Quezon or Calabarzon area or Region 4-A.
