Man killed in motorcycle crash in Bacolod

BACOLOD CITY – A man died when the motorcycle he was driving rammed a car in Barangay Mansilingan here on Sunday, July 16. Police identified the fatality as Ruel Basa Jr., 27, of Valladolid, Negros Occidental. Police Capt. Andy Ofalia, head of Police Station 7, said that Basa’s motorcycle crashed into a car driven by a 58-year-old man. Basa sustained serious injuries while the driver was detained at the police station. Ofalia said they are waiting for the decision of the victim’s family if they to file a case against the driver.
