Around 4,000 families to benefit from 2 housing projects in Camarines Norte
Around 4,000 families in Camarines Norte are set to benefit from two major housing projects in Vinzons and Mercedes towns, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) said on Monday, July 17.
DHSUD Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar said a ground-breaking ceremony was already held for the two projects will prioritize informal settler families as beneficiaries.

Located near Bagasbas Beach, the Mercedes housing project is enrolled with the Social Housing Finance Corporation, one of DHSUD’s key shelter agencies.
It intends to construct 34, four-storey buildings to accommodate more than 3,200 families.
Meanwhile, the project in Vinzons is a township development composed of 18 four-storey medium-rise buildings, targeting more than 800 beneficiaries.
Around 30 LGUs have already broken ground for their respective housing projects under 4PH since the flagship program's launch in September 2022.
