CAMP SANG-AN, Zamboanga del Sur – The Public Affairs Office (PAO) of the Army 1st Infantry “Tabak” Division successfully hosted the Division Press Corps Strategic Communication Cascading 2023 at the Officer’s Clubhouse in this camp on Saturday, July 15.
The Division Press Corps Strategic Communication Cascading launched earlier this year focuses on promoting transparency, inclusivity, and responsible give and take process in delivering accurate information within the division and the media stakeholders.
Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil-Military Operations Lt. Col. Rafael L. Balincamaya Jr. presented the New Army Strategic Communication Plan 2040 and highlighted the primary responsibilities and implications of the Army Transformation Roadmap 2040 to the public.
Major Jairus Mark P. Mira, chief of the DPAO, expressed his gratitude for the successful collaboration of the DPAO and OG7 personnel and the active participation of the media practitioners.

Lt. Col. Filven S. Noche, chief of staff, Civil-Military Operations, G7, and the keynote speaker, commended the DPAO and G7 for making these groundbreaking communication strategy initiatives to transform the division's approach to disseminating information and engaging with the media practitioners and the public.
Noche said this transformative approach has significantly improved communication within the division, fostering transparency, inclusivity, and responsible journalism.
"We believe that effective communication is vital in building trust and credibility with the public, and this initiative has undoubtedly helped us achieve that goal,” Noche said.
