Jane Oineza, a former child star, is set to make her debut as the lead role in the highly anticipated television series “Nag-aapoy na Damdamin" which will premiere on July 25.

Oineza will be playing the roles of Olivia, Lucas's wife (Tony Labrusca), and Claire, Philip's wife (JC De Vera), in the series co-produced by ABS-CBN and TV5.

Fans have also expressed that this role was long overdue considering that her showbiz career began when she was only five years old.

Oineza debuted on television in the primetime drama "Sa Dulo Ng Walang Hanggan" (2001-2003) as Arabella Crisostomo. Since then, she has appeared in various shows. She achieved fame as a child star when she joined the popular children's comedy show Goin' Bulilit (2005-2008).

Oineza has also been recognized for her controversial role as Nene in Manika (2012) for the anthology "Maalaala Mo Kaya" series. The episode tells about a 15-year-old girl who was abused by her mother and stepfather.

She also starred in popular shows and movies such as The Broken Marriage Vow (2022) and Bloody Crayons (2017).

During the back-to-back grand media conference of "Nag-aapoy na Damdamin" and "Pira-pirasong Paraiso" last July 13, Oineza said that she was grateful for the guidance of the production team and the director.

“I’m so lucky kasi I needed a strong actress, an intelligent actress to render that,” director Erick ‘FM’ Reyes said.

Reyes also pointed out that it wasn't just the prosthetics that set apart Oineza's two characters. The details were mostly shaped by her exceptional performance and how well the audience connected with her experience.

“Super thankful sa JRB creatives dahil binigyan nila ako ng ganitong opportunity… I also put my hard work in this. I’m really happy na all of this is happening now,” Oineza said.

"Nag-aapoy na Damdamin" will air on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, TV5, iWantTFC, TFC, and A2Z during weekdays at 3:50 p.m. (Jaff Emielene Conejos/OJT/University of Sto. Tomas)
