Veteran Antonio Lascuña and fellow local tour players James Ryan Lam and Gabriel Manotoc are among the professionals seeing action in the Forest Hills-PGA of the Philippines Pro-Am teeing off on Monday, July 17, at the Forest Hills Golf and Country Club in Antipolo.
Lascuña, a four time winner of Order of Merit in the Philippine Golf Tour, will team up with Martin Guiang, while Lam and Magada have Jet Mathay and Dennis Nicomedes as partners, respectively, in the two-day event which stakes half a million pesos total prize money.
Also tipped to contend are the tandems Randy Garalde-Raymond Bunquin, Ricar Candinato-Edison Tabalin, Paul Echavez-Gus Pacheco, Leonardo Estrera-Ruy Nodalo, Belem Arancon-Bong Alido and Forest Hills Classic champ Daniella Uy-Rico See.
Other notables in the roster are Nico Evangelista-Matthew Reymatias, Rupert Zaragosa-Justin Dizon, Dino Villanueva-Kunhe Li, Emilio Magtubo-Elvin Ecotan, Gretchen Villacencio-Roger Kidwell and Jonas Magcalayo-Dwight Yao.
The partnership between Forest Hills, through Chairman Bob Sobrepeña,and PGAP, through President Johnel Bulawit, was sealed during the Forest Hills Classic last month.
