3 communist fighters surrender in Bulacan

CAMP Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Three New People’s Army rebels surrendered in Bulacan on Saturday, July 15. Police and the Army facilitated the surrender of “Ka Brix,” a supply officer in Ifugao; “Ka Irma,” political instructor in Nueva Ecija, Rizal, and Zambales; and “Ka Jr.” They turned over firearms, bullets, grenade, riot rifle grenade with bullet trap, and a subversive book. Police Regional Office-3 Director Police Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. appealed to other members of the NPA in Central Luzon to surrender and live a new life.
