A 27-year-old man tagged as the seventh most wanted person for illegal possession of drugs was arrested by police in Pasay City on Thursday, July 13.
Col. Froilan Uy, city police chief, identified the suspect as Christopher Gonzaga, alias “Chef."
He was arrested at around 1:00 p.m. on V. Cruz St. in Barangay 170, Malibay, Pasay City.
Uy said Gonzaga was arrested during the conduct of manhunt operations against wanted persons led by the Pasay Police Warrant and Subpoena Section.
A warrant of arrest for Gonzaga was issued by Pasay City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Judge Gidget Rose Vertido Duque on March 29, 2023, with no bail recommended.
Brig. Gen. Kirby John Brion Kraft, Southern Police District (SPD) director, said the arrest of Gonzaga is a testament to the persistent effort of Pasay police in ensuring the safety and security of the community.
