#MeriendaNiLuc: EU envoy tries yummy Pinoy choco mallows, biscuits

European Union (EU) Ambassador to the Philippines Luc Veron updated his #MeriendaNiLuc series on Twitter with two more traditional Filipino snacks recommended to him by Senator Sonny Angara.
European Union Ambassador to the Philippines Luc Veron posts a photo of him having Chocolate Mallows on Twitter.
In a tweet, the envoy posted photos showing him with Choco Mallows and Cream-O biscuits in hand.
“Can confirm, Sen. @sonnyangara, Choco Mallows and Cream-O biscuits are definitely delicious treats for #MeriendaNiLuc,” he wrote.
Ambassador Veron said he’s starting to discover Filipinos’ preference for sweet snacks.
“I’m learning that my (Filipino) friends seem to have a liking for sweet meriendas, all of them very tasty! I think I’m slowly getting into it!,” he added.

The envoy had also earlier shared his love for pichi-pichi, a Filipino dessert made from steamed cassava balls mixed with sugar, and Choc Nut, a bar of chocolate made with peanuts, sugar, milk powder, cocoa powder, and vanilla.
He also shared that Choc Nut is available in some Filipino stores in EU countries.
